Making TEFL plans post lockdown

Making TEFL plans post lockdown

Life in lockdown doesn’t necessarily mean everything comes to a halt. Many Global English TESOL  trainees are busy completing their online TESOL courses and making plans to teach online or in-person in a “post-covid ” world.

In a short Zoom video below, Global English TESOL’s  Director of Studies William Bradridge caught up with 3 of our trainees who spoke of their future teaching ambitions.

UK-based Jess intends to set up her own online English teaching business after first experiencing Asia in a gap year. She chose our 300 hour TESOL because it contains specialisms in teaching English online and business English.

Colleen in France, a trainee of our 120 hour TESOL, loves the flexibility online English teaching offers and is keen to teach English online to children in Asian countries after course completion.

Jessica will be moving back to California where she hopes to teach international students at the variety of city colleges which, to date, have attracted people from all over the world. She also notes that there is a significant Mexican population involved in farming who may also wish to improve their English.

Thanks Jessica, Jess and Colleen for sharing your future plans! It’s great working with you as Global English TESOL trainees and we wish you every success in your future in English language teaching.
