Looking for a TEFL Course in Exeter?

Quality, affordable TEFL in Exeter has arrived

If you are based in Exeter or the surrounding area and keen to train to teach English, then we've got two innovative training options for you. This means you can get professionally qualified on your doorstep and then have access to TEFL jobs around the world.

Read on to find out more...

1.  Online only option
Work from home on your accredited, online TESOL courses, provided by a local Exeter organisation with international TESOL course accreditation. As one of the most established providers of online and distance-based courses in the UK, enrolling our first trainees in 1997, you can be sure you'll be experiencing courses of quality, designed to help you succeed in the classroom.

We have a range of options, from our 70-hour Quick Start programme to our Advanced 300-hour TESOL Professional course, one of the most enhanced online qualifications available today. You can expect quality support, marking and feedback on your work from a dedicated personal tutor, jobs support from our office and free PDF certification upon successful completion. A second certificate direct from our accrediting body ACTDEC is also an option for a small extra fee.

Check out the full range of accredited online TESOL Courses here.

2. Why not add on a 20-hour teaching practicum in Exeter to your online course?
A unique, flexible and cost-effective programme where you gain voluntary teaching practice locally, which Global English TESOL certifies. To take the headache out of finding a host school, we have  teamed up with a great local English teaching organisation with a centre in the south west, where you can complete the in-class element of the programme (subject to their local demand).

Teaching venues are possible by arrangement in Exeter, Honiton, Newton Abbot, Dawlish, Exeter, Torquay, Teignmouth and Barnstaple over evenings and weekends.

Teaching practicum content
Your 20-hour teaching practice programme consists of:

* at least 6 hours of you teaching a class
* teaching, observing or assisting an experienced teacher for and additional 14 hours

You will be asked to get signed confirmation from the organisation and to submit a reflective evaluation of one of your plans, based on your actual teaching experience. Full guidance, feedback and marking is provided by your personal GE tutor so you are fully supported. Put your online training into action and teach real learners of English yourself.
