Update - 17th February 2022
As we move through the various stages of the pandemic, we have now ceased the offer of additional free time that we put in place in 2020. However, we continue to support our Global English trainees who need a little extra assistance. If you fall into this category, and have been adversely impacted by long-covid, please contact us for further information on additional support.

As the Coronavirus continues to spread worldwide, we are all trying to work out what it means for us, our families and communities and how we can help.
During normal times, we know that for our Global English trainees, studying online affords more freedom and flexibility than other ways of learning. Presently, with world events, it is likely the safest way to study, too.
Having said that, we have been looking at ways we can help our trainee community in these uncertain times and would like to share some changes we are making, which take effect from today.
Online course extension
If you are within 90 days of course completion from 29/07/2020, and
we can extend your time by a further 90 days for free. Contact us by email here to arrange this >>
Secondly, if finances are a priority, and your present position is in jeopardy, it could be that teaching English online is a good way to get started earning quickly, perhaps before main course certificate completion. Global English trainees are working successfully in this way and demand has really increased over the past few months. If you think this might be for you, contact us to find out more >>
Finally, our Facebook group can be a good way to meet other trainees, ask the Global English team questions and stay connected. It's a great way to keep in touch.
Blended course information
If you are following one of our courses with teaching practice, and you are unable to complete the classroom component of your course, we will issue you with a certificate for the online component when it is completed. We will issue you with a second (combined) certificate free of charge when you are able to complete the practical aspect. Should you need to show a certificate with teaching practice to gain a visa for work in countries such as Korea, get in touch with the agency you are working with to see if they will vary their arrangements under the present circumstances.
Again, please come back to us if you need to discuss options. We are only too happy to try to help if we can.
Weekend and short course information
Please note that all UK weekend and 3 day courses are now cancelled. We will be replacing these with a new series of short, interactive Zoom-based courses in August 2020. Email us to sign up for our early-bird registration.
We look forward to hearing from you and continuing to support you in your studies in any way we can. In the meantime, stay safe and, wherever you are in the world, we wish you and your families well.
