If you’re an online teacher who spends a lot of their time online looking for suitable material for classes, then this is for you.
I've just created 20 online lesson worksheets which are ideal if you are looking for stimulating and engaging material for your 1-1 online English classes.
How do I know they work? Well, I wrote them and I’ve been trialling them in my own general English Skype classes, refining as I go.
I’m Louisa, Course Director at Global English, but also run a small independent Skype English teaching company https://www.phone-english.net/. I’ve been teaching online and loving it since 2007. That’s a lot of experience, and a lot of material producing! I am keen to share with you some of the ideas that have worked for me so well, to save you having to trawl the web for hours to find material of your own.
The 20 online English teaching worksheets are:
* mostly conversation-based
* strong on universal themes, like social media, work, the future of AI etc with a few fun word games
* pitched at intermediate level and below.
I've found lower levels the toughest groups to find ready-to-use material for. With a bit of tweaking, I have used these worksheets with higher level learners too.
I have made them available in PDF format, so you can also easily bring a worksheet up on screen to share with your student in class. Or, if you prefer, you can simply email one to your student ahead of time ready to have open.
The best bit?
Each worksheet requires minimal or no preparation. This means you can have super-engaging materials, ready-to use, at your fingertips.
Enjoy...

I have been teaching English online to some adults who are absolute beginners and have found it difficult to find resources which are suitable to use with them. Louisa has given me some suggestions which have been a tremendous help so I would be very interested in having the 20 online lessons which she has developed.
