Get TESOL/TEFL certified by obtaining local teaching practice with Global English TESOL Courses.
We think teaching practice can be a great addition to any of our Global English online TEFL/TESOL courses. But we also know that it is not always convenient to up sticks and relocate to access a practical, expensive in-class programme.
How the teaching practice programme works
So with our latest programme, you can put some of the lesson plans you designed on your course into practice and obtain valuable classroom exposure near to where you live. You'll also get a Teaching Practice (TP) certificate* before heading out into the TESOL world and doing it for real.
Here's how it works:
1) arrange your TP by volunteering at a school or organisation near you with opportunities for volunteer teaching
2) we help you structure a programme and issue the certificate* upon completion
Your teaching practice must contain 20-hours in class and for 6 of the 20 hours you must be leading the class. The remaining class time can involve you observing or assisting. It is flexible and negotiable between you and the organisation you volunteer for.
This programme is ideal for certain teaching posts like EPIK in Korea or for anyone who wants to get some practice support before going into the classroom for real. You can find out more about some of the venues we suggest for teaching practice on our teaching practice programme.
Cost and how to enrol
How much is it?
The price is £75, which includes Global English tutor support, downloadable forms, evaluation assessment and Global English TESOL certification. You have to be enrolled on or have completed an accredited another Global English TESOL course to enrol on this programme.
If you are already a current or a previous Global English TESOL trainee, then you can enrol on the TP practice programme today. If you are not yet a Global English trainee, consider adding this TP programme to any Global English online TESOL course.
* Course includes Global English TESOL certification (PDF). A printed, embossed and signed certificate is available for an extra fee.
