The same training, tutors and certificates
Every Christian TEFL course runs on the Global English course engine: the same interactive lessons, the same experienced personal tutors, and the same ACTDEC-accredited certification issued by Global English. Your certificate carries identical recognition to one earned on global-english.com - accepted by language schools and employers worldwide, not only in ministry settings.

Giving back: where the money goes
Christian TEFL is not just about training teachers - it aims to share up to 10% of all proceeds with non-profit partners serving communities on the ground, so every enrolment and every donation directly funds frontline work. Two partners are at the heart of that giving:
- Kira Farm (Amigos, Uganda) - a vocational training centre near Kampala run by UK charity Amigos, giving young people who have survived extreme hardship a year of practical skills training, discipleship and hope. A donation here helps a young person leave with a trade, renewed confidence and a future they can build on.
- Watoto (Uganda & South Sudan) - caring for orphaned and vulnerable children and women through family-style villages with education, healthcare and a local church at the centre. Support here means a child raised in a family, in school and cared for - not in an institution.
Beyond these named partners, Christian TEFL supports other non-profit work in the very communities where its English teachers go on to serve - so the training and the giving reinforce each other. As they put it: every enrolment helps fund this work, and prepares you for your own.

Can I use a Christian TEFL certificate outside ministry work?

Do I need to be ordained or in ministry to enrol?
