Teach English in Thai public high schools and kindergartens - a great opportunity for newly qualified and experienced teachers to gain experience in a country known for its gracious culture. Regular intakes each semester.

Start dates: The Thai academic year runs in two semesters, with the main intakes around May and November each year.

Hours / duties: Thai public high schools and kindergartens, Monday to Friday. Teachers usually cover 18–22 periods per week (one period = 55 minutes); some schools pair foreign teachers with a Thai co-teacher while others give full responsibility for classes.

Pay: Typically 25,000–30,000 Thai baht per month (after tax, depending on qualifications), with fully provided medical insurance and paid personal/sick days.

Benefits: All Thai government holidays paid, assistance obtaining a Non-B visa, work permit and teacher’s licence paid by the employer, plus relocation assistance to find accommodation.

Requirements: Native English speaker, bachelor’s degree in any field, and a minimum 100-hour TESOL course with Global English.
