New Asia: Teach English in Thailand - Thailand
Kindergarten, elementary and secondary English teaching posts across Thailand. Good benefits and a strong support package, with positions starting throughout the year and especially at the start of each new semester.
Location: Various locations across Thailand, many in the south.
Positions available: Numerous, with new openings throughout the year.
Start dates: Year-round possibilities, with many positions starting around the beginning of each semester (roughly April-May and November). New teachers attend an orientation covering visas and work permits, school contracts, holiday and sick leave and Thai culture, and a chance to meet the team and fellow teachers.
Pay and benefits: One-year contracts, with typical salaries of about 30,000-38,000 THB per month depending on location and cost of living. Benefits generally include paid annual holiday, a teaching permit, working visa and work permit, greeting on arrival and help finding accommodation, plus opportunities to learn about Thai culture at weekends.
Requirements: A bachelor's degree in any field (an education degree is an advantage), native-level English, and Global English TESOL certification. Native English speakers from the USA, UK, New Zealand, Canada and Australia; an open mind for living and working in a different culture.
