Enthusiastic teachers wanted to work with children (up to age 15) at a long-established, nationwide private ESL company in Japan. New teachers welcome.
Country: Japan
Location: Various, nationwide.
Positions available: Continual openings.
Start dates and hours: Continual monthly starts. Contracts are for one year and tied to your visa. The working week is around 40 hours with roughly 25 hours of actual class time.
Pay, holidays and benefits: A monthly salary of around Y250,000, visa sponsorship, an airfare contribution, accommodation help, two weeks' paid vacation, daily transport reimbursement and full initial training with continual workshops and professional development.
Please note: Pay in Japan is on a monthly cycle, so your first paycheck may not arrive until around six weeks after starting training. Applicants should budget to cover their living costs (around US$4,000) until pay begins.
Qualifications and requirements: Minimum the Global English TESOL Premier 120-hour course, plus a university degree in any discipline (required for the work visa). Must be a native English speaker.
