Start dates are continual and monthly. Contracts are for one year and tied to visa. The work week is 40 hrs/week with approximately 25 hours of actual class time.
Pay, holidays and additional benefits:
Salary of Y250,000 per month. Visa sponsorship. Airfare (up to Y70,000). Accommodation help. 2 weeks paid vacation. Complete daily transportation remuneration. Full initial training with continual workshops and professional development.
Is there a placement fee or any other fee to the applicant for arranging their position?
There is no fee for the applicant. However, payment in Japan is on a monthly pay cycle. As a result, the applicant will not be getting their first paycheck for at least six weeks after starting training. They are responsible for all their living costs until the paychecks start coming. We require applicants to have about US$4K to start out in Japan.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum level of Global English TESOL cert required: Global English 120 hour TESOL course
Must be a native English speaker.
Other qualifications (e.g. degree) or TEFL experience:
Must have a University Degree (any discipline) for the work visa.
