Location: Cities all over China.
Positions available: Numerous vacancies each month.
Start dates and hours: Monthly starts in cities across China. You will typically teach around 18-20 hours per week plus some office hours for lesson planning, meetings and workshops. All positions are for 12 months.
Pay, holidays and benefits: Pay varies by city according to living costs. In smaller cities expect around GBP 800 per month (after tax) plus free housing, and around GBP 900 per month plus free housing in larger cities - both go a long way in China. All jobs come with a full China work visa, with the agency and school handling the paperwork. At the end of the year schools typically pay a bonus roughly equivalent to your flight costs.
Placement fee: None. All placements are 100% free to teachers.
Qualifications and requirements: Any Global English TESOL course; longer courses give you more options and the 120-hour TESOL Premier course is recommended as a minimum. Teachers should be at least 22 with a degree and a TEFL certificate; the agency can occasionally assist non-degree applicants in a limited number of cities.
Nationality: Most placed teachers are native speakers, though near-native speakers with no noticeable accent can also be placed.
