New Asia: Cambodia English teachers - Cambodia
Volunteer in Cambodia to gain 200 hours of real classroom experience plus 20 hours of ongoing teacher training. Teach conversational English to adult Khmer students in Phnom Penh while supporting community development.
Country: Cambodia
Location: Phnom Penh.
Positions available: Up to 10 per intake.
Start dates and hours: Regular start dates through the year, with around 22.5 classroom hours per week over roughly 12-13 weeks.
Fees and benefits: This is a voluntary programme with no programme or admin fee. Comfortable shared accommodation with three meals a day (Mon-Fri), fast Wi-Fi, a computer/printer and overnight security is available for a modest cost, or volunteers can arrange their own apartment at their own expense.
Qualifications and requirements: The TESOL Premier 120-hour course. Open to applicants aged 18 and over with native or near-native English fluency, a commitment to the full placement and enthusiasm for the challenge.
