Energetic English teachers wanted for children and teenagers at a franchise language school in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Full materials provided and work-visa support available.
Country: Brazil
Location: Rio de Janeiro and coastal Niteroi.
Position: English teacher for children and teenagers at a franchise language school (of the Wizard and Fisk type).
Contract: Twelve months, renewable by mutual agreement.
Hours and duties: About 25 teaching hours per week, mostly afternoons and early evenings when school-age learners attend. You will deliver lively, game-based lessons, track progress and follow a set course with room for your own activities.
Pay and benefits: A monthly salary of around R$3,000 to R$4,500 (roughly US$650 to US$950), pegged to the local cost of living, with all course materials provided.
Requirements: An energetic classroom style and genuine enjoyment of teaching children, including songs, games and stories. Work-visa sponsorship is available; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
Qualifications: A Global English TESOL qualification and a minimum of a high-school diploma.
