Turning on the Spotlight again this spring!
Focusing on essential topics to help you get started and succeed or improve your skills as a teacher, we’re re-launching our short Zoom courses, called our TESOL Spotlight Series.
Each individual TESOL Spotlight will give you the opportunity to learn with an experienced tutor online so that you can practise and improve your teaching skills.
It’s a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of different key teaching concepts in a short, accessible and enjoyable format, where you can benefit from having a go and getting personalised advice and help.
Re-Launched in March 2022, our Spotlight sessions include:
- Zoom Basics
- Teaching Beginners
- One-to-one Teaching Practice
- Teaching Mixed Ability Classes
- Warmers and Engagement Activities
These aren't webinars, but interactive experiences where you’ll be learning and putting what you learn into practice.
Guide to taking a Spotlight course
- Firstly, you’ll engage with a few short, preparatory modules, so you arrive at the Zoom session ready to go. There will be an opportunity to submit questions ahead of the online meeting.
- Then, you’ll participate in a live, one-hour interactive Zoom experience led by one of our tutors. It’s a practical hands-on way to upskill.
- Once the Zoom session concludes, you’ll gain a specialist certificate – ideal to showcase your new skills to prospective employers.
