Am I eligible to take a weekend TEFL course?

We welcome anyone over the age of 16 with a good standard of English and from any background. No prior teaching experience is necessary; we'll take you through each stage step-by-step. Suitable for UK school teachers who wish to gain further insight to help improve the English of youngsters in state schools who don't have English as a first language. Others use it as a base course and add on further TEFL training.

Where can I teach with a weekend TEFL certificate?

There is huge demand for the adventurous armed with a TEFL certificate – especially if you also have a degree and are a native English speaker. Previous weekend TEFL trainees are teaching in language schools in Latin America and Asia or else they freelance to support their travels or are volunteering all over the world. A 20 hour or 28 hour TEFL is generally not sufficient on its own for senior TEFL positions or more competitive locations such as the UK, Australia and some locations within Europe.

Jobs advice is given on the course and links to companies recruiting weekend TEFL course graduates around the world are provided on request to our weekend TEFL graduates.
