Bangkok or the provinces?

Bangkok pays ฿5,000–฿15,000 more; provincial rents are half or less. Provincial teachers usually save more and report better work-life balance.

What should I budget before arriving?

Two months’ living costs: first salaries commonly arrive six weeks in, and school-holiday months are often unpaid - language-centre hours fill the gaps.
