New Europe: English Language Assistants Spain - Spain
Spend an academic year as an English language assistant in a Spanish private school. Learn a new language, experience the culture and teach children from beginner to advanced level.

Numerous each intake.
Term and hours:
Academic year (roughly September to June), around 20 hours per week.
Pay and benefits:
- A university-certified course – an Expert in Bilingual Education certificate, or TEFL/CLIL credits, depending on the programme.
- Health insurance covered by the programme for EU citizens.
- A monthly grant, more than enough to live in Spain as a student (a higher amount living independently, or a smaller amount plus full board with a host family).
Qualifications and requirements:
Any Global English TESOL course; native-level English; a recent graduate or current student who enjoys working with children. Some Spanish is helpful but not required. Programmes are generally open to under-30s.
