Instructors work as independent contractors on renewable contracts, with recruitment running all year round. Schedules are flexible and built month by month, so you choose when and how many lessons you teach around your availability.
Pay and benefits:
Income varies with your schedule, with a per-lesson rate that can increase based on performance, plus incentives through the year. Visa sponsorship is possible for eligible applicants – full details are provided during recruitment. Type of teaching:
Mainly one-to-one and small-group lessons with adult and business learners, giving you close contact with students and plenty of variety.
Qualifications and requirements:
Enthusiastic, professional individuals with strong people skills who are keen to live and work in Japan. A recognised TEFL / TESOL certificate is expected – the Global English TESOL Premier 120-hour course is ideal. A bachelor’s degree is normally required for the work visa.
