Tokyo, Yokohama, Chiba, Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, and Nagoya
Start date, hours per week and length of contract:
Instructors are independent contractors and are offered 6 month renewable contracts. Recruitment is all year around. The schedule is flexible and designed on a monthly basis, where Instructors are able to choose when and how many lessons they teach based on their availability.
Pay, and additional benefits:
Income varies depending on schedule, and the start rate is 1500yen for a 40-minute lesson. There are various incentives offered all year, and opportunities to increase the per-lesson rate based on performance. Visa sponsorship possible for all eligible applicants. Qualifications and Requirements
120 hour Global English TESOL
Enthusiastic and unique individuals keen to experience living and working in Japan and who possess the following:
* Solid people skills
* Good command of the English language
* Ability to work independently
* Desire to live and work in Japan
As a diverse company, there are instructors from over 70 different countries currently teaching. English level must be of a native level.
Other qualifications (e.g. degree)
A degree is not a requirement for the position, but may be required for Visa sponsorship.
