UK weekend and 3 day practical TEFL courses

If you’d like some extra 'hands-on' classroom experience before entering the TEFL world, then Global English offers you the opportunity to go on a UK practical TEFL course - the perfect accompaniment to your GE online programme.

A weekend TEFL course is ideal if:

	you’d like to add a 2 or 3 day practical element to your online course
	you’re in the UK and want to experience the TEFL classroom before committing to a longer course
	you want to experience essential TEFL methodology in action

About the course:

During the course you will be taken through all aspects of becoming an English teacher. This includes how to plan lessons, classroom management, teaching lessons, ways of teaching grammar and games to keep your students interested.

This is all taught in an interactive and lively environment by experienced trainers. In addition you gain:

  six hours of peer-peer teaching
  a Certificate in TEFL on completion (by post shortly after the course)
  advice on how and where to find EFL employment
  complimentary teas and coffees throughout the course

Where and when do the courses take place?

We offer 2 day weekend courses in Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Southampton.

London and Birmingham host our 3 day (Monday - Wednesday) courses.

The 2 and 3 day courses are similar in format with the 3 day course containing extended teaching practice. Weekend courses can be taken independently or in conjunction with our range of online courses.

Entry requirements:
You must be over 16 and fluent in English
