 What is the Global English Study Partner Scheme?
Most students who join the TEFL Certificate course or TEFL Certificate course with business do so as individuals. The Global English Study Partner Scheme is a way of making contact with another person who is studying on a Global English TESOL course and has indicated that they would like to perhaps get in touch with a colleague or a ‘study partner’.
What are the benefits of having a ‘Study Partner’?
Sometimes it can be difficult to get motivated to study, particularly if you have been away from studying for some time. Having another person who you can contact can be beneficial because:
 you can swap ideas and compare notes
you have someone to chat to, which can help you to feel less isolated
you can motivate each other to complete the course

If you are already a student and decide that you would like a study partner, then read on. If you are thinking about enrolling on a course then you can apply for a study partner after your enrolment has been accepted.
The Study Partner scheme is optional and we will only give out your details to another person if you ask us to. You do not have to participate immediately and you can join at a later date if you wish. The study partner scheme is free and there is no additional cost or charge for entering the scheme.

Remember that you can always have a chat to your tutor as well having a study partner. If you have a question on any item of course material your first point of contact should be your course tutor, who will be able to correctly advise you.

Before you can be accepted onto the Study Partner programme, you need to read and agree to the following terms and conditions:
Study Partner Terms and Conditions:
1. Global English agrees to pass on only the name, email address and telephone number of each Study Partner. Addresses will not be passed on. If students wish only either email or telephone details to be passed on then this should be indicated when the application is made.
2. The plan is limited to one Study Partner for each student and is open to all students who enrol on the Certificate course or Certificate course with business.
3. Students may compare notes but identical or near identical answers to questions will not be permitted. In the event of copying, Global English reserves the right to ask the respective students to resubmit work, which is their own and not the same or nearly identical to another persons work.
4. Global English will not be held responsible or accept any liability for contacts or results of contacts that take place between individuals entering onto the scheme. We advise all participants to take necessary and appropriate precautions to safeguard their own privacy and personal information.
5. Global English will attempt to find a suitable study partner for each person who requests one, and will seek to do so within 30 days of your request.
6. Global English will attempt to provide a partner within the same country or regional area, but please be aware that this may not always be possible. Therefore your study partner may be in a different country from yourself.
Global English reserves the right to withdraw or stop the Study Partner scheme without notice.
