Regional Overview

TEFL jobs and TESOL opportunities are growing rapidly in this area as the Asian boom for learning English grows. Both Australia and New Zealand have taken advantage of the desire of English Language learners and offer a range of courses. English Language tourism is high on the agenda of both countries as they seek to encourage learners from countries such as Japan, Korea and Taiwan to their shores.

Prospects for EFL teachers are good, although the required visa status can make it more difficult for non-Australian or New Zealand teachers to find constant and consistent employment.
