Being a native or near native speaker of English and already in situ in France can help.
Enthusiasm, flexibility and a TESOL certificate can be all you need. If you have a degree, so much the better, but it is not always essential. You do not need to speak another language to teach English but if you can learn something of the language this will help. Indeed, the French will really appreciate you trying their language!
