| The business element of the level 2 course has been scrutinised by the Independent Accreditation Panel of ACTDEC, which has formally validated the add on element. The Chair of the Accreditation panel, in her report wrote, 'the course provides a solid foundation in the introduction of teaching business English with a very hands on approach. It not only covers using the basic skills for Business English and Functional Business English, but also gives the student an insight into types of business courses (especially one-to-one lessons) and course design. There is also a very informative module on information technology and using the internet as a business teacher. There is a wealth of photocopiable material and lesson plans to help the new business teacher plus numerous useful tips on where to resource teaching plans and material from the internet. Each module is accompanied with a task ranging from planning an individual lesson, planning a range of lessons for a set student, to writing a critique on an existing plan.' |
