I have been involved in TEFL for more than 25 years.  It has been a great career for indulging my passion for travelling.  I have been lucky enough to have lived and worked  in Tunisia and Rome.  I’ve also taught Business and Technical English in Finland, working with the personnel of a paper and packaging multinational.  In the UK I worked at Exeter University for 10 years, where I taught mainly on Academic English courses and was an IELTS examiner.

I am the co-writer of Everyday Technical English,  (Longman ELT) and have recently written Grammar Guides for the Business Life series  (Marshall Cavendish) and co-written the Upper Intermediate Trainer's Guide.

At present, in addition to my work with Global English, I am also an examiner for Trinity College London, which mainly involves examining children and young adults overseas.
